Peek-A-Blue berry farm
In 2002, twelve-year-old Chelsey Keeler of Bath, New York wrote into “Country” magazine requesting their readers to send her a blueberry recipe from every State. Hoping to get a few recipes for her cookbook to add to her families “Peek-A-Blue Berry Farm” collection, she soon became overwhelmed with mail. Actually, she received over 1,000 letters and over 2,500 recipes. Opening up their hearts, memories and cookbooks, people from every State and three countries responded.
During her summer vacation, thirteen-year-old Chelsey started typing selected
recipes from every State to create her collection, “Classic Blueberry Recipes from across the United States.” This unique collection also features excerpts of letters that came with the recipes from each State. Sharing with you a bit of history, culture and recipes of wonderful unique blueberry dishes, reminisce and laugh along, as this cookbook will be a perfect gift to anyone that loves blueberries.
